Jobalize becomes Who's Web and gets new features

Before all, we want to thank all of you guys for your subscription to jobalize. We cannot imagine such a success: 484 members over 51 countries! :-)

It gave us a lot of motivation to add new features, so what's new?

New name, Jobalize becomes Who's Web.

This name better fits the service: a directory of web talents, for people who works around the web and want to exchange, collaborate or meet locally.
Of course all permalinks are still working and are redirect to Who's Web.

Events

We added new markers for events like barcamps, local meetings, .... You can see who is coming and from where, so if it's a long distance may be you could do the trip together :)
We are also thinking of opening an API for bigger conference, let us know if you are interesting to.

New design

Cleaner and easier.

Optimization

This version is two to three times faster especially with tags

RSS feed

To know latest subscriptions

And a lot of more soon

Subscribe to this blog RSS feed if you want to be informed of any new features.

What's next ?

• Custom RSS Feed : to know new members around your area. You could have a feed like: 'everybody at 40 miles around my location with rails tag for example.

• API to manage events.
